Welcome to the Gamers' Roost! We are putting together some leagues for playing games online, on PC, XBox, or Playstation. More information coming soon!

Keep in touch, soon we will be adding a means to log into our system.

We will keep track of leagues, stats, and offer a nice office space to play on a wicked fast connection to play in the evenings.

Bookmark this site, we will be giving out an address to a place downtown Providence soon where we can hook up and frag each other all night long.

I am posting some links around some spots, like facebook, RINexus, and I will poke around myspace as well. If you guys have any ideas, let us know!

Okay, so I am starting to get some momentum on this LAN event thing, but I do need some help.

The last time I was involved with LAN gaming, I was working with game developers, and we played usually 2-3 hours at the end of the day. True, the interest was there, as we are all were already on-site, and shared all our games so we could play. We had an on-site IT guy who knew the network inside out, and we had some serious machines. Now, with no real gaming community around here, and no real means to get the word out other my own two feet and one (admittedly unstoppable) mouth, I am reaching out to you, Providence, and surrounding community to come have some fun.

What i do know I have:

One fast connection, with a little hub for 4 machines (yes, we can get more), around 10 - 13 desks, 15- 20 seats, a downtown location (great for beers and chow before/after the gaming), and some basic sober stuf (coffee, water, crackers, and we will be getting Mountain Dew and other highly caffinated and sugar drinks, as needed).

What you should bring:

Your computer, CAT 5 cable (5 feet should be more than sufficient), any kind of hub would be nice to have as back up, and GAMES.

Here is a crux, I don't have anything but Team Fortress 2 on my laptop, and my desktop is too slow nowadays to be worth anything other than a interenet machine.
